Dear Mr. Sheng Kee, thank you for your explanations. Need time to realize your recommendations. Hereby send you a foto which shows the best sounding configuration of my CD-Transport above your genious Performance. (Please note: the Performance has to have 4 steel feathers - otherwise I have a lot of droning (which is the hell, especially when the frequency range goes down to really 20 Hz. Thats the case with my studio monitors made by Klein&Hummel/Germany). The CD-Transport made of black acrylic stuff is stabilized by its 4 black anodized aluminium screwed columns. The balls are Tungsten carbide balls.

The major difference between my configuration and configurations using diverse Spikes (have had "Antispikes", "Stillpoints" etc.) is that one is much ! (unbelievable) closer to the stage/instruments. It is much more life like. It is with remarkable less onerousnesses.

Phantastic!

Best Regards
Wolfgang Zoellner

Hi Wolfgang 1)The connection of the Ground Grid to the earth are designed to drain RF into the earth system. However in many cases, the earthing route is polluted with RF already. In suchcase, the earth route which is a much bigger system than our platform, override the RF absorption capability of our platform. Another situation is that when we make the connection, the system needs time to burn-in (run in) so we should evaluate the sound quality after 45 minutes connection. Another way of uses is to extend the antenna by connection of the side aluminum to (for example) metal window frame but make sure that the two side are not short connected.. Once they are connected, the antenna is cancelled result much less effectiveness. The rear terminal is separated from the antenna.

2) Your friend regarding the tuner, I think although it cannot overpower the earthing system, it still reduces much of the RF effect which means the tuner cannot recieve its full signal.

3) In both cases, the RF are affected by the Performance Platform. Here are suggestion of connections (a) connection of the aluminum bar to chassis of other equipmemnts. (Please wait for burn-in)) (b) connection of the aluminum bar to the window. (c) rear ground connection to chassis of other equipment (It will sound different than the side aluminum bar connection) (d) This must carried out with caustion. If you have two pieces of Performance Platform, and without any other connection to the Performance Platform, your can connect the rear ground grid to the hot output of the amplifier, so one platform for each channel. In this way, the whole signal path will be RF cleaned. Because the connection is to the speaker output, it can only carry out with great caustion and by experienced knowledged person. (e) The above are suggestion for how Performance Platform can be used. Do let us know your trials and I hope that my explanation is the actual situation. Come back to me if you have any other question.

Happy Listening
